Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Gallup is committed to advancing the reign of God in a spiritual and holistic way by providing unconditional human caring, assistance and services modeled on the Gospel values to everyone, especially the poor and needy, through the capabilities of its staff.



As shown in this map, the Diocese of Gallup includes the reservations of seven Native American tribal nations.

ARIZONA

  • Talbot House in Chinle provides a variety of recovery and emergency services in the heart of the Navajo Reservation
  • Good Shepherd Center in Holbrook located off Interstate 40 serves many Native and non-Native Americans with vocational, educational and emergency services
  • White Mountains Catholic Charities in the White Mountains of Arizona offers services on the Apache reservation from the McNary office and has satellite offices in Snowflake and Pinetop, Arizona to assist people with transitional housing and emergency assistance.

NEW MEXICO

  • Catholic Charities Family Services in Gallup serves people from McKinley County and the near-by reservations as well as serves as the local Salvation Army office and transient services.
  • Casa San Jose in Grants is a residential treatment center for adolescent pregnant girls and teen moms and their babies, providing transitional care and case management services.
  • Good Shepherd Center in Farmington provides case management services to young women and their babies, a drop-in center for the homeless, a women's center, transient and emergency assistance.
